Original dPlan Account holders
If your organization had a dPlan account prior to December 17, 2021, then the account was imported into the new dPlan|ArtsReady. Not all fields in the original dPlan map directly to the new tool, so you may notice that your organization's data is miscategorized. The Admin user on your account can view, add, and delete Critical Stuff. Please see the video tutorial Imported Accounts for more information.
Pocket Response Resource (PRR)
dPlan|ArtsReady includes the Pocket Response Resource (“PRR”). This free, customizable template is accompanied by the PRR Guides and Resources, a library of basic emergency-planning resources. The PRR is a concise, two-page emergency resource that can be tucked in your pocket or stored on your device for immediate access to emergency contact information and emergency response actions. It’s a good place to start as you work on your more detailed and holistic preparedness plan, and it’s a great exercise to get your team engaged in thinking about emergency planning in a way that’s approachable and that quickly results in a useable document.
To download the PRR instructions and template, create an account at dplan.org, click "Create account," and select "Pocket Response Resource." This will provide access to the downloads. An email address is required.
The PRR instructions are also available here: nedcc.org/assets/media/documents/dPlan/PRR-Whatis-instructions-20240429.pdf.

History of dPlan
Funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training, NEDCC and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) partnered in 2004 to create dPlan, a free online template that allowed museums, libraries, archives, and other cultural institutions of all sizes to develop a customized disaster preparedness and response plan. A 2017 Andrew W. Mellon Foundation grant awarded to LYRASIS for the Performing Arts Readiness project included funding to combine and upgrade NEDCC's dPlan with South Arts' ArtsReady online preparedness tool. The new dPlan|ArtsReady was released in 2022.
